      Since the source code was donated to the Apache foundation under a contributor license agreement, it should have a different license preamble in the file.

        This path against r611996 is more general and respects ASF rules [1]. I also updated NOTICE file to respect [2].

        This is a patch for the Check and CheckTest java files only. It uses the expanded license that Vincent pointed out.

        This is meant to be an example commit so I'd like to keep it simple. I'll create a separate issue for changing all the other licenses.

        Er, this isn't actually fixed everywhere. About half the source files still
        have the standard apache license header.
