Description

We will add the support for geospatial stream processing in Apache Flink.

 

The following functions will be added:

1. Constructors such as ST_GeomFromWKT
2. Functions such as ST_Distance, ST_Transform
3. Predicates such as ST_Intersects, ST_Contains

 

For now, we just focus on the basic geospatial support in Flink. More advanced functions are still under development.
