Description

For example, the ElementProxy class has a field "constructionElement" - besides being awkwardly named, there's a bunch of repeated code using this field. For example, lots of repeated code that adds returns for pretty formatting.

Patch to follow that turns this data private, and introduces utility methods for common operations.
