Description

Apps dir was initially used for a design of S4 similar to Tomcat: upon startup, nodes pick applications from a give directory (apps dir).

We are not using this concept anymore, therefore we should clean this parameter from the internal API.

In addition, there is a related and unwanted side effect which would be avoided as well: when fetching an S4R from a given URI, the S4R is currently copied into appsDir, whereas it should be copied to a local temporary directory.
