      Description

      Based on feedback from review...

      Currently, the server and container objects are singletons and don't have corresponding "dx_server_t" or "dx_container_t" types. This is inconsistent with the pattern and should be fixed.

        Also included in the above commit: The signal handling was removed from the server module. Now, signal handling is remote but the calling of the handler may be dispatched through the server module.
