    Description

      • running one broker, configured as cluster but partner is not up
      • a client is connected
        $ qpid-cluster -Cn admin/_vgMQCbe@localhost:10199
        Clients on Member: ID=192.168.178.1:31168:
        172.23.159.171:1160
        172.16.45.198:45629
      • trying to close the client connection 172.23.159.171:1160 (the other connection is from the qpid-cluster tool itself)
        $ qpid-cluster -d 172.23.159.171:1160 admin/_vgMQCbe@localhost:10199
        Closing connection from client: 172.23.159.171:1160
      • checking the existing connections again still shows the "closed" connection:
        $ qpid-cluster -Cn admin/_vgMQCbe@localhost:10199
        Clients on Member: ID=192.168.178.1:31168:
        172.23.159.171:1160
        172.16.45.198:45633

      The problem has also been reported as service request no 1980868 at Red Hat's support system.
