         - Returned Allura, which is this podling
       * https://github.com/
        - Found several forks/mirrors of Allura, and an Allura/Django tool run by one of the Allura PPMC members

      Searched for 'Allura' at Google and went through the first 20 pages. Found various clothing and medicinal products. Evidently 'Allura' is a shade of red, used in dyes. Also found a Philips corporation medical XRay product. Nothing that appears to be anywhere in our space.

      Searched uspto.gov for mentions of "Allura"

      These are patents that contain 'Allura'

      http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-bool.html&r=0&f=S&l=50&TERM1=Allura&FIELD1=&co1=AND&TERM2=&FIELD2=&d=PTXT

      It appears that Allura is the name of a color of red, so it shows up a lot for that.

      I found 43 trademarks on 'Allura' - http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=toc&state=4006%3A28k5tu.1.1&p_search=searchss&p_L=50&BackReference=&p_plural=yes&p_s_PARA1=&p_tagrepl~%3A=PARA1%24LD&expr=PARA1+AND+PARA2&p_s_PARA2=Allura&p_tagrepl~%3A=PARA2%24COMB&p_op_ALL=AND&a_default=search&a_search=Submit+Query&a_search=Submit+Query

      The only one that seems at all related is:

      http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4006:28k5tu.2.31 - Abandoned - Computer training. Vaguely related, but abandoned.

      Other than that, there's a lot of clothing and medical stuff, but nothing in the space of software or computers.

      Description

      Allura means "and then ..." in colloquial Italian. It's also the name of a character in the show Voltron. And it's also the name of a particular red dye color disodium 6-hydroxy-5-((2-methoxy-5-methyl-4-sulfophenyl)azo)-2-naphthalenesulfonate. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allura_Red_AC)

        I always thought that the colloquial Italian was "allora", not "allura".

        Geez, you missed the Allura font and the AlluraDirect software - for vacation rentals in Canada. 8-)

        Note also the USPTO is not link friendly; your link to the abandoned application is "session expired". You need to use the TSDR or TTAB links to be able to share them, like this: http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=74648070&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch

        Indeed, that is abandoned, and is not directly related to the Apache Allura podling software.

        Approved. Enjoy the name!
