Description

Avatica has been a sub-component of Calcite for several years. It has been making independent releases for some time (governed by Calcite's PMC) and it was just moved to a separate git repo. At some point we may make it a top-level project.

People generally refer to it as "Apache Calcite Avatica" or "Avatica, part of Apache Calcite", but it's time to figure out whether "Apache Avatica" is a viable mark.
