The Kafka connector has been removed due to lack of maintainers.

If someone volunteers to update and and maintain the connector, it can be re-added later.

Description

The Kafka connector is built for an ancient version, and also has open CVEs.
We do not have volunteer to fix these issues.

Drop it from the repo.
If/when we can find a volunteer to maintain it, we can add it back later.
