A use case requires programmatic application of a
special font (bar-code) to a field. That will be
possible if getDefaultAppearance and
getFontAndUpdateResources are changed to protected,
and tokens.set( setFontIndex-2, COSName.getPDFName
(pdFont.getBaseFont()) ); added to setAppearanceValue.
Ideally, setApperanceValue should be refactored to a
strategy pattern.
