Description

ColumnIO is pretty useful for obtaining repetition and definition level info, for constructing nested records (the ColumnDescriptor only expose the info for leave nodes). However, currently getDefinitionLevel and getRepetitionLevel are both package-private and other applications depend on Parquet have to find workaround for this (e.g., ColumnIOUtil used by Presto).
