Description

German names, such as Änne, Özlem, or Ümit, should be recognized in their abbreviated short form (Ä., Ü., Ö.) by the FeatureGeneratorUtil class.

Atm, recognition fails, as the Pattern "capPeriod" only takes regular, capitalized letters into account. This can be fixed easily.
