      Description

There is a number of different systems which would benefit from Openmeetings integration, including Zimbra, Typo 3, Redmine and Trac, and different popular SaaS systems.

The participant is to create the plug-in integrating Openmeetings re-using authorization system. Then other requirements can be completed, please take a look on Joomla plug-in for inspiration.

        Hello!

I'm a student and I'm interesting in this task for GSoC 2012. I have no experience in Openmeetings, but I am familiar with Java, and I worked a little with Red5.
I have some questions about the task:
        1. Does this task involves only the integration with various third-party systems, or this is one of the subtasks that needs to be resolved over the summer?
        2. I would like to continue to work with Java. In this context, which systems written in java you may suggest, that need integration with Openmeetings?

        Thanks.

There are many Apache systems written in java, e.g. Apache Roller.

You can also take a look here for other Openmeetings tasks

I have commited and registered the plugin:
        http://svn.codespot.com/a/apache-extras.org/redmine-openmeetings/
        http://www.redmine.org/plugins/redmine-openmeetings
Now it allows only to create one room per project and login with Redmine account, but at first I want to collect user's suggestions about new features.

Ok, i am a little disappointed that you dind't use github, because nearly all redmine plugins are hosted there and git is very usful to push development.
Furthermore there is a wiki and a issues tracker.
        >but at first I want to collect user's suggestions about new features.
Where yo you wanna do that?

I believe the name of the project should be "openmeetings-redmine-plugin" instead of "redmine-openmeetings"
Additionally I believe you should add couple of people to it: seba.wagner, solomax666
And links to the OM blog etc. please take a look to the moodle plugin to have an example

Not one redmine user will look into this or a mailaing list. Redmine itself does not provide Mailing lists. Either you shall create a thread on redmine.org or use this issue tracker with own category. But you didn't add any tarcker info on the redmine plugin entry so far.
