Description
openejb-jar.xml should contain elements to override ejb-jar.xml/env-entry elements, e.g. in the same way as for Geronimo properties in geronimo-ra.xml override properties in ra.xml. These elements should be used for injection with @Resource.
Contrary to Sun's suggestions, ejb.jar usually are not build by deployers, but rather by software developers in the build process, so ejb-jar.xml are put into jar archives by the build process and not easily changeable during deployment.
openejb-jar.xml usually is not in an archive and as deployment plan can be modified during deployment.
