Description
Should share validation at the element level. On CAS crawler this can become an action and can define whether or not items are submitted to the file manager for ingestion or just logged. This will help users that are not in control of the file manager understand whether or not their submission is valid rather than solely relying on the file manager to report status to them. The file manager needs element validation on this end as it may have more than one crawler from more than one client interacting with it and must decide what it will do when encountering a problem with metadata.
