      Description

Currently we are allowed to create ShoppingLists as a part of our profile. We can also nest them and create a bit of a tree that makes the organization of these ShoppingLists a little less unwieldy - and they also come with the capability to "remove" subShoppingLists from a partShoppingLIst is provided.

We cannot remove shoppingLists at the moment. A solid improvement would be providing the user (and anyone who has the proper permissions in the backend as well) the ability to delete shoppingLists from the editShoppingList page.

        Hi,
I have gone through the issue and what I have understood of it is that we have to add a delete link on the editShoppingList page to delete the selected shopping list.
Though I have thought for a solution to that but I have encountered some problems with that which are as follows:
        1) Only the entries in ShoppingListItem corresponding to the given shoppingListId are to be deleted or the entries in the ShoppingList Entity corresponding to that shoppingListId should also be deleted(i.e. peramanently delete the shopping list)?
        2) The child ShoppingLists related to the given shoppingListId shoud be deleted or not?

Please go through these problems and help me to resolve them.

        Regards

Mridul, thanks for resurrecting this one from our past! My vote would be the following:

        1. Permanently delete the shopping list
        2. Cascade the delete to the children.

Any other comments on this would be great.

If it's just some more cents being requested. There's not much in OFBiz that _should be deleted, simply expired or cancelled either by statusId or by thruDates will do in most cases.
