Description
The original pull request adds functionality to ValueFactoryImpl to convert between ReferenceBinary and Blob instances as code paths move through different layers of the application. Instead of making changes to ValueFactoryImpl should we just enhance the classes themselves, to easily convert from e.g. ReferenceBinary directly to Blob?
