Similar to MongoDocumentStore.find() the implementation should retry calls to MongoDB for query(). The most likely reasons for MongoExceptions from the driver are crashed or suddenly stopped replica set members or temporary network issues. Retrying the operation in these cases may hide the underlying hiccup from the application.
