Description

We believe we are seeing some connectivity issues when using the GitFlowPersistence provider with an instance of GitLab.

After a period of inactivity, git operations from Registry stop working (we get a "session closed" exception in the logs, but no indication as to why). We believe this may be related to JGIT-565394, in turn related to the version of Apache Mina and SSHD-1050 (resolved in Mina SSHD 2.6.0).

An upgrade to a newer version of JGit may resolve this issue or at least provide better logging as to the underlying errors.
