[NETBEANS-6272] Auto-indent function or pressing tab character in java editor throws NoSuchMethodError

Description

When running NetBeans under JDK 1.8, the auto-indentation or inserting a tab character on a new line throws a NoSuchMethodError, if the source file is managed by a versioning system (see the attached picture). Running NetBeans under JDK 11 or higher is OK.
