    • In my case I use NetBeans 12.4 on Windows 10 with php, css, js documents, but as far as I know this is a quite old issue.

    Description

While working in split document mode (does not matter horizontal or vertical split) if undo or redo (ctrl+z / ctrl+shift+z) is done, the second view (the one without focus) automatically scrolled to the location there changes were. Thus it is not possible to use second pane for reference, as it constantly scrolls back to the same location where the first view is.

      To reproduce:

      1. Open any document large enough to have scroll bar
      2. Top menu: View -> Split -> Vertically
      3. Scroll down any of the two views
      4. Make any changes on the top of the document using not scrolled view
      5. Undo the changes (Top menu: Edit -> Undo)

On step 5 you will see that view which was scrolled down automatically scrolled to the top of the document.
