[NETBEANS-4317] Netbeans hangs with java.lang.ClassCircularityError

Description

Whilst looking at the dependency list for a Maven project NetBeans hangs.

 

The command line from which I'm running it reports:

 

Exception: java.lang.ClassCircularityError thrown from the UncaughtExceptionHandler in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0"

After going "Force quit" I still get a few more messages some while later as though there is a thread running that was not killed off.

I had recently (and apparently successfully) installed a jar called HotJavaBean (used by some of my old code) as an artifact.  I have several other projects that compile and run with Maven that reference this.
