Steps to reproduce

1. Start NetBeans with a clean user dir and Java SE 14
2. In a Java class type in text block (JEP 355)
3. Navigate to Options Dialog|Font&Colors
4. Select Java in langauge
5. Select Text block  in category
6. Change Foreground color
7. Change back ground color
8. Change Font
9. Click Apply

Expected Result

In editor colors & font are reflected

Actual Result

The changes have no effect.

 

Workaround

Close file and open again
