javax.faces.component.html.HtmlSelectOneRadio throws IllegalArgumentException with message Value is no String

    Description

      HtmlSelectOneRadio throws IllegalArgumentException with message "Value is no String". While debugging I can see that the value is no String but rather a org.apache.myfaces.shared_impl.renderkit.RenderUtils$1 object which seems really strange because I only send SelectItems to the control.

      It has been working on and off for some time but now, it shows up regulary.
