create cms staging/production area for MRUNIT (incubating) and replace current website with this cms site
Run java conventions formatter that comes with eclipse on all source code
initial new cms website is done
javadoc is posted for 0.8.1, at the link Javadoc under Documentation
Yes javadoc is not posted yet, I will do that tonight
Woot!! Looks awesome!
Are we going to provide the javadoc on the website? I have already had two requests for it but cannot find it. Could be user error (me).
I think most of the initial site is done now. The release guide from the wiki still needs to be migrated but MRUNIT-96 will change that release process.
I think we can probably delete all of the wiki pages once the release guide is migrated except for the tutorial.
What are the thoughts, criticisms, etc on what I made so far?
Added initial front and history pages

I think they use auto-assigning a lot. Looks right to me, but I am no expert. I would ping the INFRA guys on IRC.
Checked in a stub based off the openoffice site with a logo design based off the JUnit logo
I noticed INFRA-4610 is still open, does it usually take INFRA this long to create the cms page?
submitted INFRA-4610 to get a CMS staging area created to create the new website
the website should include the attached formatter from MRUNIT-85
How do we divide the content between the wiki and the website? Do we even need the wiki? Do we need versioned releases of the website as with the jar's?
Ok I will start using that formatter with 2 spaces.
I have not used Xdoc, APT or FML either, was reading about them on: http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-site.html
That makes sense to me, hadoop uses 2 spaces for an indent.
I am not sure how to update that page, I don't see it on /www/incubator.apache.org/. I will ask the list.
I am not sure what Xdoc, APT or FML are so I have no biases. I think HBase uses xdoc.
How do you want to generate the site, using the site plugin with Xdoc, APT or FML?
I guess this documentation can be tied in with MRUNIT-53
We also need to update http://incubator.apache.org/projects/mrunit with new committers, status reports, news items. How do we even edit that page?
http://incubator.apache.org/clutch.html is also wrong on column K: "numberCommittersNew - new committers added since establishment (gathered from each project's Status page "News" section)"
website guide: http://incubator.apache.org/guides/sites.html
Based on reading that we need to get the site checked in, improve our documentation, and establish some coding standards. For the coding standards part we probably should start to use PMD, FindBugs, CheckStyle and agree on an Eclipse formatter. For the formatter I would use the default eclipse one "Eclipse [built-in]" except use spaces only
