Major Description
The plugin uses JDom to rewrite the pom. Due to a lot of workarounds in the code it is very hard to improve this piece of code.
The strategy I'd like to implement is to refactor the code first to extract all JDom specific code, which should create the option to implement a second XML transformer, e.g. based on woodstax.
