[MNG-6970] Mvn -v in cmd shows Syntax of the command is incorrect

Description

I configured maven in Windows 10 machine, while verifying configuration mvn -v or mvn -version in cmd it shows Syntax  of the command is incorrect

 

I tried navigating to the maven repository still same error,

Java - version 

1.8.0
