Description

The following dependency causes InternalErrorException.

<dependency>
<groupId>any</groupId>
<artifactId>any</artifactId>
<version>...</version>
</dependency>

This can be confusing to a new maven user trying to get a dependency to work.

A patch is attached that fixes the problem.
