      CombineFileInputFormat

      Description

org.apache.hadoop.mapred.lib.CombineFileInputFormat can not be used with org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.Job
because Job.setInputFormat requires subclass of org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.InputFormat and CombineFileInputFormat
      extends org.apache.hadoop.mapred.FileInputFormat.

      Also CombineFileInputFormat uses deprecated classes.

CombineFileInputFormat is re-written with new api through MAPREDUCE-364 and it is committed to branch 0.21. The new org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.lib.input.CombineFileInputFormat should be used with Job apis.
MAPREDUCE-364 cannot be committed to branch 0.20 now, because it is an improvement.
