Description

To replace previous Gridmix benchmarks (HADOOP-2369 , HADOOP-3770), it must be possible to put a sustained, saturating load on a cluster. While tools for manipulating traces (MAPREDUCE-1295) allow one to produce lighter or heavier load than observed, a client monitoring and responding to observed load would let one write easier-to-interpret, end-to-end benchmarks.
