    Description

      I did a quick experiment here:
      https://github.com/dweiss/lucene/actions/runs/1332075715

      Basically forced gradle to run with 2 workers (instead of the default-calculated 1) and ran two concurrent phases: checks without tests and just tests. Seems to work just fine. Should we add it?
