Description

JsonTemplateLayout supports specifying a pattern to format the message. Other Layouts also support using a PatternSelector to select the pattern to use based on something in the log event. JsonTemplateLayout should also support this. Since the PatternSelector is a Plugin a suggestion might be to allow the PatternSelector to be defined in log4j2.xml and then reference it if one is defined instead of using a pattern in the template.
