Description
Should we update our contributor guidance documents (any of them) to discourage or prohibit contributions that are merely AI-tooling generated code blocks?
This is going to become a common question pretty soon, and having at least an explicit legal FAQ entry that we can point to when people ask will save us a lot of time (and mailing list threads) in the future.
Even if our license + ICLA technically protects us (since we assume committers are following all the rules), this may quickly become a social issue, where new contributors are wondering how or when they can use AI tooling to create code they might submit here.
