Description

Currently, the Ambari discovery configuration for all services is consolidated. It may be better to break it out into the service definitions (similar to rewrite rules).

The current consolidation is due to the Ambari-specific nature of the configuration. Breaking it out to the service definitions would mean that there could be multiple such configurations as additional discovery mechanisms are implemented since I don't believe it's possible to define a generic form of such configuration.

Breaking this configuration out to the service definitions would

• encapsulate service-specific details
• make it easier for service owners to contribute changes
• provide support for versioned service discovery configuration
