Description

Currently we create ".sha" files when creating the release artifacts. However this contradicts the Apache guidelines (and the INFRA team contacted me about this same issue for another Apache project):

"An SHA checksum SHOULD also be created and MUST be suffixed as:

.sha1 for a SHA-1 checksum"
