      Description

Currently, JSPWiki has (in theory) support for DAV.
This is contained in the packages org.apache.wiki.dav, org.apache.wiki.dav.items and org.apache.wiki.dav.methods.
The code does not work properly and it's also very hard to get it working in the future.
But most important, the general sense is that it is not used much, or maybe not at all.
The proposal is to completely remove this stuff from the codebase.

There has been a call for an official ASF vote from 26-02-2009 + 72 hours , where we reached an agreement to remove the code.

I understand, JSPWiki source code implements DAV itself, is it?
One could keep DAV functionality, but use an existing DAV implementation like Milton WebDAV Community edition or Apache Jackrabbit JCR Server, both Apache licensed.

Thanks Glen. I clicked on watching as you have suggested. Hopefully that will take care of things.

I had successfully unsubscribed from the dev emails. I am guessing that I probably successfully unsubscribed here as well, but since I was on the watch list, I was still receiving emails on this issue.

        Thanks again for your help.

Hi Michael, from this JSPWiki page (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-513), I noticed you're "watch"ing this issue so you'll get all emails over it. From the upper right side of the screen, just click on the "watching" and you'll no longer get any emails over this particular JIRA issue.

I'm unsure if you're also subscribing to the jspwiki dev emails, if so, sending an email to jspwiki-dev-unsubscribe@incubator.apache.org from the account you subscribed with will also unsubscribe you from that mailing list.

I seem to be unable to unsubscribe to these emails. Any thoughts regarding how to accomplish this?

        Thanks.

This one reopened since DAV is still in 2.9.1.
        Will prepare for removing it.
