Description
Special system folders, (i.e. /system), should use a unique name or prefix to prevent conflicts with deployed portal folders/pages. These special folders are normally hidden from navigational menus/links.
Existing _X and/or __X prefixes may be used, but are currently reserved for profiler use and can not be navigated from portal request urls. The /system folder contains chooser pages and must be accessible using request urls, so these restrictions are currently too tight. However, we should continue to enforce restriction for profiler rule criteria mapped folders.
Additional functionality might also be included in the work associated with this issue to allow configurable prefixes, (note that there are no explicit requirements for this feature)
