      Description

      We would like:

      https://translate.apache.org/projects/couchdb/

Please add me as the first admin. Can I add other admins, or do I need to provide you with a list of people?

You can add translators, but not other admin, that is something we have to do.

I will get around to create the project and account, during the weekend.

If you have issues with .po files or need translation/extracting from other formats (like source files), I have written some utilities for AOO, that I can make available

Welcome to the world of pootle. CouchDB has been created, I have not added any languages, as I do not know which ones you want.

You can login with your apache id, and have admin rights on the project.

We believe in that with freedom comes responsibility, so there are currently no real fence between the projects.

If you need help with the admin or general po problems, feel free to contact me (simple questions dont need a jira).

        Thank you.

How does somebody get a Pootle account for me to add them to the project?

Is it possible to add someone who is not an ASF committer?

Committers have access automatically, and the default sec.level is set so that they can translate.

I prefer another way. That you add the people (see admin window) specifically to your project.

Non-committers can also have an account, same procedure you add them. Then first time they try to do a login, they request a password reset and get a mail. Please be careful with non-committers:
        a) they have not signed an ICLA, meaning you must ensure that their work is submitted under a Apache license (alv2)
        b) I prefer that they can only make suggestions (but that is your decision) similar to code patches.
