      Description

Apache MyFaces would like to explore using the cms for a subsection ouf
      our already svnpubusb hosted site.
The repository base url for the CMS is located at:

      https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/site/cms-site

We are not ready to go live with the CMS content and will open a separate ticket
      for going live.

I also have a question, since we are going to host most of our content
for the time being on our svnpubsub site:
       https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/site/publish how will this look
in final production once the cms site is online, will the generated cms content
go into a subfolder of the publish site? This is our intention for the time being
since we will host only small parts of the site in CMS for now?

<joes2> probably not because it hasn't been filed to the cms category

CMS site created, staging builds are tested. We will be more than happy
to incorporate your CMS content into a specific section of your existing
        site upon instruction.

Thanks for your help. I'll try it to see how it work. The idea is move the documentation from https://cwiki.apache.org/MYFACES/ to confluence. Let's see what happen.

        Hi

I tried to publish a helloworld page but nothing happens. I just rename one file (index.html to index1.html) and then try to publish. I can see it here:

        http://myfaces.staging.apache.org/index1.html

But I was expecting the file was created inside svnpubsub folder (myfaces is already using svnpubsub for publish content using maven):

        https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/site/publish

Or at least I was expecting the file was published on:

        http://myfaces.apache.org/index1.html

What's happening when a site is published?

It seems we need to specify a deployment target. If that so, the idea could be output the content in:

        http://myfaces.apache.org/wiki

I appreciate your help with this problem.

<joes4> it'd help matters if you put all of your content into a content/wiki folder.
