          Polite ping?
Is there anything the podling or it's mentors can do to help with the bootstrap of Marmotta?

<danielsh> andy when you get to requesting a website please use https://whimsy.apache.org/officers/cmsreq2 in addition to filing a jira. It's experimental but you guys will be the guinea pig :)

danielsh - I'll ask the podling but I'm sure they/we will be glad to be a guinea pig.

The project is hoping to use GIT - which is the the sub-task holding up import of code.

Will using GIT be a problem for the website? I notice the option is svnpubsub

<danielsh> No need to ask the dev@ list Andy, they won't know the difference, just file a request please. At the moment only svnpubsub|cms are supported for web sites.

I see that there are still two sub-tickets open for this issue (continuous integration and the distribution directory). Is there a reason this ticket has been closed with "won't fix"?

<danielsh> Typo in the issue number, probably. Ignore that.
