Is there any chance that we can load the dump file this weekend? Is there anything we can do to help?

We have a go-ahead from the project. 8 days to review, confirmed builds on three platforms.

We have also built these files successfully on Windows/Linux/MacOSX, which confirms the loaded files are correct again. Let us know if we need do more review actions.

I have just checked out the source code from https://svn-master.apache.org/repos/test/danielsh/symphony-import and compared with my local copy, all files are same. So I confirm that the loaded file set is complete and all files are correct.

<danielsh> Given the md5 mixup I'm inclined to load this in to /repos/test tomorrow and after project confirmation load it to /repos/asf.f

Sorry, as my check with my local dump file, the correct md5 value is a28b687ac7bdfeb14c9bc75890859be8. So your value is correct. I have updated the file at http://people.apache.org/~zhangjf/symphony/src/r1012.repos.bz2.md5.
I can not remember what was the wrong when I made the md5 file, perhaps I used a wrong file to generate the md5 manually.

I get the same md5sum as you do. The fact that the hash has a time stamp 30 minutes before the bz2 is also odd.

I'll check with zjangjf on what happened here.

[~robweir]: the confirmation of receipt you received indicates that the "queue" is complete. I've just double checked, and verified that the CCLA+SG was filed.

SGA (which is actually an appendix to the CCLA form) was sent to secretary@ on Monday or Tuesday. Confirmation of receipt was send to ooo-private yesterday.

        See: Message-ID: <4fb44b4e51d52_53a1a0d640372@CraigRussell-3.local.mail>

I don't have visibility into any other "queue" for SGA's that Apache might have.

<danielsh> No need for the attitude. On another topic: The thread you link to mentions a software grant, but I don't see one filed or queued. What's the status of that?

Would that create a mess of commit notifications? And there is no heuristic to tell how to slice up this very complex and deep source tree into bite size pieces that would not upset the sync. It would essentially require someone to sit at their desk for 12 hours trying to figure out how to chop up the tree and then monitor the individual check ins.

Or is there an easier way to figure out how to do this piecemeal?

(Also remember, this would be done from Beijing, so factor in latency issues)

I bet you can load the dumpfile via svnadmin in 30 minutes.

<danielsh> If it's just one revision, it would be easiest for you guys to just commit it yourself (piecemeal, to not upset the us->eu sync) to the desired location. Would that work?
