      Description

Hi all, I'm the Release Manager for Pivot, and could be useful for us now to have svnpubsub enabled for the distro folder found here:

      http://www.apache.org/dist/pivot/

      Thank you,
      Sandro

Note that all content has been updated by hand ... enabling svnpubsub could delete something there ?

Hi, our commits are published here: commits@pivot.apache.org
Or are you speaking here of the mailing list for our developers (that is this: dev@pivot.apache.org ) ?

          Thank you for now,

Got no objections from other PMC members, so you can set this (as for our other commits): commits@pivot.apache.org

Hi, sorry for the (big) delay ...

          > Please import current releases to https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/pivot
should I copy files from the existing folders (in the old place), or from my copy under people.apache.org, or better should I do an svn checkout or update there (sorry I need more info on how svnpubsub works) ?
Currently our releases are in svn here ( http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/pivot/dist/ ) but I don't know if it's really useful nor mandatory here ... what do you think ?

          Sorry, a last question:
if I look at other Apache projects in download area there ( http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/pivot/site/trunk/deploy/ ), I don't see usual binaries and source folders ... how it the standard in this case ?
Could I keep our current structure (I think it's better than have all files in the same folder), so mirrors (and our links) continue to work, or should I update something ?

Thank you again, and sorry for all questions,
          Sandro

Ok, just imported all files from our dist svn folder into this, committed in revision 508.
For the moment I keep the same structure, let's see later if/what type of changes will be required ... tell me if needed, otherwise for me should be all Ok now.

Now should be safe to delete all them for our original dist folder in svn, right ?
Sorry, a last question: all worlwide mirrors now will start to synchronize with this, right ?

          Thank you for now,

<danielsh> your dist/ repository has not yet been hooked to the mirroring seed, that's the next step

Hi, for me should be all Ok here ... tell me if I have to do other steps here, otherwise resolve this issue.

Today/in next days I'll start to update our Web Site, linking to the new URL (the other issue, related to this).

          Bye,
