<danielsh> no problem. Is there anything actionable about this? does openmeetings want to load an additional dump?

Somehow I missed Sebastian's message about the dump. Again, I'm sorry on making incomplete dump.

<danielsh> You provided a dumpfile that goes up to r4704. If you now provide a dumpfile that starts with r4705 (via svnrdump, or svnadmin --deltas --incremental) we can add it to the load.

It would be nice to have at least additionally this branch additionally to trunk:
        http://openmeetings.googlecode.com/svn/branches/video-component/

That branch has not a long history, I guess it should be only 200-300 MB.

Will it require you to re-run the whole import or is it possible to add that branch without re-initialization from revision 1 ?

        Thanks,
        Sebastian

@Alexei: There are some open tickets in the Issue tracker regarding the video components:
        code.google.com/p/openmeetings/issues/list?can=2&q=MileStone%3DVideoComponent
if those are solved we can re-test that branch and then decide if we can start merging it to trunk or if additional things need to be adressed beforehand.

@Sebastian as for video component, German awaits some action from your side (approval?)

We discussed commiting the old patch for room invitations - if someone needs to select a language, so invitation would come in that language, there is no need no need to ask the person we invite to choose the language.

<danielsh> ftr this took longer than usual because we had to resolve other issues on the svn host before we could load 2*2.5GB of dumpfile data onto it

<danielsh> what happens next is that root@ load the dumpfile you provided to /repos/test, you approve that, root@ loads that to /repos/asf (typically on a weekend).

@Alexei: I do not agree, German did make a video-components branch that we would like to merge to trunk.
If we have no history and start from scratch there is nothing to merge and you can manually compare 700 files.

Its better he commits to the old SVN and if things are missing in the new one because the Snapshot from Apache Infra guys was earlier you get the diff and re-commit it.

        Hi Maxim,

I think it is save to commit changes to the old SVN @GoogleCode at the moment.
The new SVN at Apache is not yet ready and it might take a bit more.
Alexei did request to stop committing to the GoogleCode SVN because he
made a dump of it. This dump won't be used by Apache folks as they
        can't import it.
They will need to make a fresh copy.

We will need to test the result anyway ... eventually we will need to
        commit things twice.

        Sebastian

so I propose to SVN @googlecode as usual for now

German reports this becomes a blocker for development. I suggest populating svn with the current version. If one would need history, we'd keep frozen googlecode svn for that.

        What do you think?

would be nice to have the full history of the current SVN as we have some branches and there is at least one that we want to merge to trunk again.

From my point of view you can simply import the current repository from:
        http://openmeetings.googlecode.com/svn/
        to
        http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/openmeetings/

Is there something we can do to help you?

<danielsh> Actually we can't mv that repository because /repos/asf is one repository, not N. I'll update this issue when the dump has been loaded to /repos/test for your review
