Dear Infra team,

Apache Sedona (incubating) is a new incubator project. We would like to import the initial code from its old GitHub repo: https://github.com/DataSystemsLab/GeoSpark to ASF GitHub repo: https://github.com/apache/incubator-sedona

and keep all the history. We can add one of the infra team members into the old GitHub repo.

# IP Clearance

1. DataSystemsLab, the owner of GeoSpark GitHub repo, has filed a SGA to [e-mail] and the SGA has been accepted. See the confirmation email [1]

2. Most committers have submitted CLA. See the Sedona podling report [2]
