The committer mthl@ (https://whimsy.apache.org/roster/committer/mthl) asked for his account to be deleted on users@ mailing list (and apparently elsewhere 7 days ago).
Got rerouted to privacy.
In theory this could have been a self-service request by user via infra and bounced back to committer.
But given that this route is equally valid - most expedient is simply to process it this way and not overcomplicate things.
The request confirmed to be genuine (Jira: PRIVACY-7); and committer understands that also means no @apache.org email address, loss of any commits ability, loss of home.apache.org, etc. Commit bits/pmc bits seem to have already been unset.
Requesting infra to delete this account - and should such take longer than 20 working days - to sent privacy@ a heads up so we can process an extension.
