However the page fails to say that a login is needed to view the archive.
Note that the page also says that the mailing list is for use by anyone to raise/discuss issues, so it's reasonable to suppose that anyone can view the archives.
Further, it appears that ASF member karma may be needed to view the archives. If that is the case, then it should be noted on the page (but ideally the list should be viewable by others, e.g. all committers)
