      Hello Daniel,

I have to ask back on the next steps.
      1) We are happy with the git version already available for our development sources at
      https://github.com/apache/odftoolkit

      2) We have prepared already the website repro from SVN using the following commands:
      git svn clone https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/odf/site -T trunk -t tags -A authors.txt
      using the authors.txt from https://git-wip-us.apache.org/authors.txt
This transformed site repo can be found at: https://github.com/svanteschubert/odftoolkit-site

Shall I still trigger requests for the two repos above?

PS: We discussed what svn2git might mean, but we havn't used nirvdrum/svn2git as it did not seem official. We might avoid this problem in the future, if the tool https://github.com/nirvdrum/svn2git is being referenced from the official INFRA documentation (see https://www.apache.org/dev/infra-contact#what-we-need-to-know and look for svn2git)
or even clone the project to a Apache github context so it becomes more official. :)

Thanks in advance for your help!
      Svante

You can request new git repos to populate with the website and do an svn2git ( https://github.com/nirvdrum/svn2git ) migration by having a PMC go to https://reporeq.apache.org/
Once you've populated the repos I'll make svn read only for you.
Next create an asf-site branch for the website repo and we can setup gitpubsub to get the website up.

We have voted successfully on the transition of our SVN repository
      https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/odf
      into two GIT repositories
      1) Our website project transformed from SVN to GIT by myself can be
      found at https://github.com/svanteschubert/odftoolkit-site
      2) Our source project transformed from SVN to GIT by the Apache team can
      be found at https://github.com/apache/odftoolkit/

We would like to ask that
      a) the SVN repo become read-only
      b) bot git repos become write accessible under https://github.com/apache/

The final voting thread is here:
