[~humbedooh]Good point. Can you start a fundraising committee LDAP group, please and put myself, Sally Khudairi and Tom Pappas in the group?

As a model, we are looking to mimic he playbook idea for treasurer.apache.org.

Does the website need to have restricted access? If so, to whom? (looks like treasurer.a.o is open)

We'll set you up with the new buildbot/Pelican/markdown approach that Infra is moving people to.

I added kmcgrail to the existing https://whimsy.apache.org/roster/group/fundraising group.

Groups (other than PMCs) should be self serve: members of the group can add or remove others in the group.

[~gstein] I intend it to contain only public information and to be open like treasurer.a.o.

        Thanks!

Suggestion: make commits to the website be open to ASF members. There are people - like me - who will show up now and then to help with content or setup, but who wouldn't necessarily be on a Fundraising committee and doing regular organizational work there.

Also (obviously) ensure commits go to fundraising@ or someplace you monitor.

[~curcuru] Sounds fine to me but I don't have any idea if the backend can easily support that. I don't want my primary goal of getting things documented better to be derailed so if this is a light lift, do it.

I'll create a repo and open it to all committers, tie it into buildbot so that it rebuilds the contents and publishes the changes. Are there any other requirements you need for Pelican?

Hi [~pono], apologies for the delay but in looking at the svn and the site, I don't find the file in svn that contains the text:

THIS PAGE IS NOT IN USE CURRENTLY

Temporarily, please see the sponsorship page.

I see instead of lorem ipsum content in site/content/pages.

So I'm not sure how to get started.

[~pono] there is a Pelican setup at repos/asf/fundraising/ ... and one at repos/asf/fundraising/site/ ... only the latter should exist. I have not checked the buildbots, etc, to look at their conf. But first step is fixing this duplication.

Sorry about that, forgot to use `svn rm` so my removal of the top level (first iteration) files remained. I've removed them so site/ is where the site is now. Buildbot builds on the site/ folder.

[~kmcgrail] site/content/pages/index.md is where the index markdown page is. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Note that the undelivered email issue happens on the restricted-access board SVN area as well. When director makes a commit to https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/board/site two emails are generated: one to the expected board-cvs@, and one to commits@board.apache.org

Possibly somewhere in the mail config of the buildbot there's an assumption about commits@projectname?

Just adding in case it helps, no action needed.
