[IMPALA-6940] num_nodes=1 is not applied in end-to-end test

Description

I ran testdata/workloads/tpch/queries/sort-reservation-usage.test via tests/query_test/test_sort.py and even though the test sets num_nodes=1 it is not reflected in the result. The query profile shows nothing related to this setting and apparently the query wasn't ran on one node (see profile attached).
