Impala 2.6.0
Description
When you create an a UDF and specify the return type, it checks the update function and gives an error if the return type does not match the final value. However if your final type is different it will allow you to create a function that actually crashes Impala since the final type doesnt match.
As a side effect this results in being unable to have your intermediate type and final type be different.
